When prompted for a starting or ending point within 511 Driving Times^SM, you can request a city, bridge, or hot spot. All available options are listed below. Therefore, you can say any of them, and the system will recognize it as either a starting or ending point. Please note that until the system is fully built-out (expected in December 2005) some of these points lie outside the current 511 Driving Times^SM coverage area, so only Traffic Conditions information will be provided if you select these areas. The roadways in the two right-hand columns define the intersection used to calculate the driving time, so if you say, “Alameda” as your starting point, we are calculating your driving time as if you are starting at the intersection of 29th Avenue and Interstate 880.
