Join Our Smart Driving Pilot!
If you are a Bay Area driver who is interested in smart driving, then the Metropolitan Transportation Commission (MTC) needs your help. MTC has launched a new pilot program that:
Tests how installing temporary in-vehicle devices that display drivers’ gas mileage in real time can help drivers achieve greater fuel economy
Tests how providing smart driving tips and other educational information can help drivers improve their gas mileage

Do you want to learn if you can improve your gas mileage by changing a few of your driving style and vehicle maintenance habits? Just take our short, two-minute survey to see if you’re eligible to participate in our pilot program. As an incentive, MTC is offering free Amazon.com gift cards to the selected pilot project participants.
The pilot will last approximately six months. MTC will contact eligible applicants by phone or email within a few weeks after the survey deadline.
Please note, you must own the vehicle that will be used for the pilot. The vehicle must be a model year 1996 or newer.
