What is a matchlist?
A matchlist is a group of other commuters with similar matching criteria who are interested in sharing their carpool, vanpool or a bike buddy commute. Your start and end points, with the data you entered, are what determine your matches.
What do I do with a matchlist?
Contact the people on the list that are the best matches to share your commute. Do this using the 511 RideMatch Service Email Matches feature after you run a matchlist, or you can call your matches too. For the best results, email, then follow-up with a call.
Why can't I find any matches?
Confirm that your start and end points and Commute Information are up to date and accurate. Next broaden your search in the 511 RideMatch Service by running a route-based match list, or expanding the radius around your start and/or end point. Next consider a nearby alternate start or end point using transit stops; Park & Ride Lots; or other locations that are convenient for you. Next make sure the "Contact Me with New Matches" checkbox in your Member Information section is checked so you will be emailed when a new match fits your commute. You might also consider casual carpooling or matching through a carpool matching app partnered with 511 Carpool.
What is the 511 Trip Diary?
The 511 Trip Diary allows you to log your commutes so you can see your trip summary and money, miles and pollution savings while becoming eligible to win fun rewards.
