Welcome to Petaluma Transit, a Community Based Transit Service working to meet the public transit needs of the citizens of Petaluma. Operated by the City of Petaluma, Petaluma Transit is a division of the Department of Public Works. Services include fixed route and para-transit services, both operating within the Petaluma City limits.
The City of Petaluma utilizes transit service contractors to operate and maintain the buses. MV Transportation is the contractor for the fixed route service. Petaluma People's Services Center is the contractor for the ADA compliant paratransit service.
