The I-680 Sunol Express Lanes run southbound from 84 in Sunol to Calaveras Road in Milpitas and northbound from Grimmer Boulevard in Fremont to 84 in Sunol. The lanes operate Monday – Friday from 5 a.m. to 8 p.m. Carpool occupancy is 2 or more people.

Carpool Rules

Solo Driver Rules
A FasTrak Flex toll tag (set to '1') or a standard FasTrak toll tag is required to use the lane, and drivers are charged the full toll.
