Going to the airport.
Take transit. The Bay Area is one of the few regions in the world with three transit-friendly major airports -- San Francisco International Airport, Oakland International Airport, and the Mineta San Jose International Airport.
If you plan on driving, check 511's interactive map, or call 511 for "Driving Times" and simply say the airport name as your destination to receive current travel times.
The 511 phone system also provides information on traffic conditions, parking rates and ground and public transportation at all three major Bay Area airports, and at Sacramento International Airport. Just call 511 and say "Airports."
