County-Provided Vanpool Rewards
Contra Costa County

Vanpool Rental Rebates: New vanpools with an origin or destination in Contra Costa County are eligible for up to $200 per month for up to one year.
$1,000 Bonus to New Vanpools: New vanpools with an origin or destination in Contra Costa County whose driver has not been a member of a vanpool in the last 6 months, are eligible for a $1000 cash bonus if they remain operational for 1 year.
Join a Contra Costa Vanpool: If you join a vanpool, 511 Contra Costa will pay half your costs for the first three months. To qualify, your vanpool must have a Contra Costa County origin or destination, and you cannot have been a member of a vanpool in the last six months or have claimed this benefit previously.

Marin County Vanpool Incentive Program
WHAT: Up to $3,600 (paid $150 monthly) over 24 months to new vanpools traveling to or from Marin County.
ELIGIBILITY: Employer or individually-based vanpools that have an origin/destination in Marin County or pick-up at least 3 riders in Marin County and have at least seven passengers. San Mateo County

Vanpool Drivers: New, qualifying Vanpools can receive a $200 subsidy to help vanpool participants reduce the cost of commuting. Vanpools can apply this subsidy on top of an existing $350 subsidy from the Metropolitan Transportation Commission for a total of $550 in the first year.
