
Toll-free bridge crossings are available for qualified vanpool commute trips.
Overview
11-15 passenger vanpools with at least half the seats occupied get TOLL FREE PASSAGE on the Bay Area's seven State-owned toll bridges for vanpool commute trips. Eligible bridges include the Antioch, Benicia-Martinez, Carquinez, Dumbarton, Richmond-San Rafael, San Mateo-Hayward and San Francisco-Oakland Bay Bridge. The Golden Gate Bridge is not included.
Vanpools also travel toll free in Bay Area Express Lanes when traveling with at least 3 people in the van.
To apply for a non-revenue vanpool toll tag:
- Drivers renting vans from Commute with Enterprise (CWE) should contact CWE at CommuteSupport@ehi.com.
- Drivers of owner-operated vanpools, should contact the Bay Area Toll Authority at FasTrak@bayareametro.gov.
